"Gallery of Picture Players" October 1913 (Vol. VI, No. 9.) Contains stories, articles, gossip, news and answers to fans questions about movies and actors. There are also advertisements, some related to the industry. The main item of interest is an unusual caricature of Princess Mona Darkfeather (Josephine M. Workman) on page 120 which shows her in an animal skin dress and a very large, modern hat. Page 131 has a Q&A noting Darkfeather was not an Indian, but came from a "Spanish" family in Los Angeles. With a missing front cover, detached back cover, stains, soiling, water damage and edge wear, the condition is poor.Lexicon
