"The Newest Thing in Airplane Hangars," by Stockton, 23 August 1929. The item shows an aerial view of the hexagonal structure at the Western Air Express field in Los Angeles with one airplane shown parked outside. A pasted on label on the reverse gives information from the Associated Press about the image. There are also pencil inscriptions, a date stamp, and a stamp from the AP to editors about credits. With a loss at one corner, liquid stains, creases, edge rubbing, and soiling, the condition is good overall.
