"THE PRESIDENCY VS. HOOVER" PROMOTIONAL INSERT
Color: Black; White
A promotional insert for "The Presidency vs. Hoover," by Samuel Crowther (Garden City: Doubleday, Doran, and Company,) 1928. The item is printed on one side with a description of the book, asserting that author Crowther analyzes the opposition to and then describes the support of the Republican candidate, but there is no question that Crowther and the promotion of the book are pro-Hoover. On the reverse is a pencil inscription that appears to be a schedule of activities for a group on election day in 1928, including remarks about dining while waiting for returns to come in. In good condition, the item has slight paper discoloration and was folded in quarters.
