"The Proceedings of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the State of California" (San Francisco: Frank Eastman & Co., Printers), 1880. The item provides details of the convocation of the masonic group in San Francisco in April 1880 including officers and those present from the various chapters throughout the state. A considerable portion is devoted to news from sister chapters in the rest of the United States. Also included is the grand chapter's constitution, general regulations, rules of order, and returns of the several chapters, including #33 in Los Angeles, of which F. P. F. Temple had been a member and of which Frederick Lambourn was then a member. With heavy staining, soiling and edge rubbing on wrappers and staining on many pages, the condition is fair.
