"The Puente Valley: 1920-1930", an unpublished manuscript by Kirk P. Haggerty, 58 pp. A blue hardcover book with the work's title and author's last name on the spine. The front and back covers are blank. The typewritten manuscript is a brief history of the La Puente Valley produced as an Eagle Scout project. Subjects include: industries and economy; stores; schools; families; entertainment; roads and card; and fashions. Reproduced photographs are pasted onto the pages, many of which came from the Homestead Museum. Acknowledgements to the museum staff are made for their assistance in the production of the book. Some pages are creased, but otherwise the book is in good condition.
