"The Ring," April 1929 issue. The item, with a front cover in an orange background, has the title, in blue letters, along with the date and price at the top, an image of boxer Ray Miller below within a circular design and Miller's name at the bottom left and other feature articles at the bottom right. Among the 38 pages are items on boxers, technique in the sport, history of the sport, fictional items, editorials, a piece about boxing and film, news from several major boxing cities and locales, and a question-and-answer column. There are many photographs as illustrations and many advertisements. With tape at the spine, light creases on the cover and some page corners, light soiling, page yellowing, the cover detached from the pages, some small losses at the top right corner, two-thirds down the right edge and at the bottom right corner of the front cover, light stains on the front cover and the first page near the bottom, staple tarnish, and small tears on the cover and some page edges, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
