A photograph of the band, The Roamers, presumably Los Angeles, California, 1926. The members of the eight-piece band are posed with their instruments set on a large rug indoors, perhaps at a concert hall. A banner with the band name is draped on the piano. Members included saxophonist La Rue Hillker, who is featured in photos .5 and .7-.8. Aside from a large crease at the upper left, other small creases, and soiling and staining on the reverse, with minimal wear to the image, the artifact's overall condition is fair.Lexicon
