Description
The ruins of the Yorba ranch house, Santa Ana Valley, California, 1895, as reproduced by C. C. Pierce and Company, ca. 1930s. The image shows a one-story adobe structure with a shingled covered porch on at least two sides and a wooden second story with a gabled roof. The unmaintained building with peeling plaster walls and exposed adobe walls sits amidst weeds and a couple of trees. An identifying inscription in pencil and a Pierce stamp are on the reverse. With a torn bottom right corner, an edge tear at the bottom center and light soiling, the overall condition is good.
