Description
The San Gabriel float, Tournament of Roses parade, Pasadena, ca. 1920s. The float has the city's name on the front and is covered with flowers and a profusion of palm trees and a replica of the iconic belfry on one side. Figures dressed apparently as Indians are on the bak of the float and figures dressed as monks walk along and in front of the vehicle. In the background are spectators and portions of commercial buildings. The postally unused card has some stains at the top and reverse, minor soiling, moderate abrasions, and fading, the condition is fair overall.
