A softcover booklet of 115 pages with a pink cover, featuring a stylized framed border, an image of the Society's headquarters at Montgomery and Gold streets in San Francisco, and the organization's name around the image. The contents include listings of officers and directors from 1850 to 1853 and then yearly until 1873-74; the certificate of incorporation from 1863; the constitution; by-laws; standing rules of orders; list of life members; list of contributing members, including F. P. F. Temple (arrived 26 June 1841) and his sons William and Thomas and Jonathan Temple, listed as arriving in California in July 1826. The total number of members in the various categories is 2,518. Pages 97 to 108 are missing, the covers are badly worn and soiled and there are stains and soiling on many of the pages, so the artifact is in fair condition.
