A photograph of the south elevation of Mission San Gabriel, 1915. The view is looking east from a dirt median between the old stone church and Mission Drive. At left is the south wall with support columns, window openings, an open side door and persons gathered near the church and under a tall pepper tree. Some palm tree fronds are at the upper right. On the reverse is a pencil inscription: "San Gabriel Mission / Op. Mission Play." With some stains, soiling and curvature, the overall condition is good.
