Description
The south facade looking west of Mission San Gabriel, C. W. Darby, Los Angeles, ca. 1918. Darby stood just away from the east end of the church and captured the south elevation, including the exterior stairs and some of the supporting buttresses. A sidewalk, some pepper trees, and a portion of Mission Drive at the far left are also in view. On the reverse is a pencil inscription, "San Gabriel / Mission / L.A." There is some album paper residue on the reverse, a few creases, a few small stains and some soiling, but the overall condition is good.
