Real photo postcard, "The Switzer-Land Chapel, Arroyo Seco Gorge, Sierra Madre Mtns.," ca. 1920s. The view shows the chapel perched on the edge of a hillside ridge amidst steep mountains, covered with chaparral. At the left is the gorge with a thick growth of trees in it. Switzer-Land, later called Switzer's Camp, was a popular camping and tourist destination in the San Gabriel (formerly Sierra Madre) Mountains. With little indication of wear or damage, the condition is good.
