"The Trail at Point Fermin, San Pedro, Cal," a postcard issued by the Newman Postcard Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The front has a colored photographic scene of a wood house at the left, a trail (marked in yellow) leading from the bluff to the rocky pools at the ocean's edge below, and a broad expanse of the Pacific at the right. In red ink at the top right is the title. On the reverse top is the manufacturer's logo, the name "Post Card" and the postmark from San Pedro, as well as a one cent stamp. Sections for the message and address are marked and the card was used, so there are both. At the left side is the manufacturer's name and places of business. At the bottom is "San Pedro, Cal. / 'On the Road of a thousand wonders." To the left of this is what seems to be a product number "D 122." This item was included free with items 1.1-1.4 of this accession. There are abrasions at the top and corners of the front, and some light soiling on both sides, otherwise the object is in good condition.Lexicon
