Description
A press photo of the Union Oil building in Los Angeles, California. 8 August 1923. In view is the thirteen floor building. The bottom floor has a wood fence around it indicating construction activity. The second floor windows have a "for lease" signs. There is a boom on the side of the top floor and tanks on the roof. In the street below are cars, people, and electric street cars. Information on the back of the photo states that the building is at Seventh and Hope streets and will be the main offices of the big oil company. With some creases and soiling, the object is in good condition overall.
