Description

"The Union Pacific Magazine," December 1923. The official publication of the nationwide railroad system has many company-related features, photographs and advertisements, with a main article being about "Los Angeles: Cradle of a New America,," which has sections about Chinatown, Little Tokyo, water supply, the rapidly-growing population and others. The centerfold has a collage of photographs highlighting the region's tourist, commercial, agricultural, and cultural aspects. With edge rubbing, some staining, soiling and light browning to the wrappers and generally clean pages, the overall condition is good.
