A black and white photograph of Thomas Temple at El Campo Santo, ca. 1920s. Temple stands at the center on the lawn and faces the camera. He wears a tie, collared shirt, light-colored suit, and has both arms down at the sides. Behind him is a large bush. Across the back is a paved walk and a row of rose bushes. The iron fence around the center plot is partly visible behind the rose bushes. Across the background is a row of tree-tops. Stamped at the bottom of the back is, "ANDERSON / Photo Service / EL MONTE." At the bottom right corner is the number, "43." The photograph was housed in Agnes Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With water damage, stains, and part of a mounting corner adhered to the top right, the artifact is in poor condition.
