Description

Color: Black; Brown; White A black and white studio portrait of Thomas Temple, 1923. He sits on a leather chair at the center facing to the left, and wears a dark suit with a white shirt and checkered bow tie. In the coat's left chest pocket is a white handkerchief. Temple's hair is slicked back and in his left hand, which he holds up near his face, is a cigarette. The photographer's name is at the bottom left but it is not clearly discernible. The image is mounted on brown cardstock. Written at the top left of the back in black ink is, "Thomas Workman Temple." With light creases and soiling, and some fading of the photographer's mark, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
