Description

Document: A half-page typed set of notes by Thomas Temple regarding the Rancho La Puente, ca. 1950s. Among the notes are: the date of the grant to the rancho to John Rowland, his receiving permission to return to New Mexico the same day, the date the first rancho survey was made, the date Rowland left for New Mexico, and the date he returned, with a list of those who accompanied him. The document may have been left unfinished, because Temple, after indicating that 19 families were on the trip, listed 11 and then concluded with a comma.
