Description

THOMAS W. II AND EDGAR TEMPLE POSED BY A STATUE OF JOHN BRIDGE Color: Black; White A photograph of Thomas W. II and Edgar Temple next to a statue of John Bridge, ca. 1928. The two wear heavy overcoats over their clothing and have Panama hats with dark-colored bands on their hands. Edgar has a white shirt and striped tie on, while Thomas has a cravat around his neck. The statue has a large pedimented pedestal and a life-sized statue of John Bridge, whose name and dates are partially visible on the pedestal. Wide expanses of lawn surround the statue and there are bare trees and some portions of buildings in the background. The clothing and trees suggest a winter date to the image which is faded, probably due to poor exposure. On the upper right corner of the reverse is the stamped number "8" and the brand name "VELOX" is preprinted throughout. In fair condition overall, the item has creasing on the bottom right corner, minor surface soiling on the reverse, bowing of the paper, and dented corners. Number-Units: 1
