Description
THOMAS W. TEMPLE II AND UNIDENTIFIED LITTLE GIRL AT A HOUSE
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Thomas W. Temple II and a little girl on the lawn of an unidentified house, ca. 1930s. Temple stands at center, on a lawn, and wears a light-colored vest, trousers and a white shirt with the sleeves rolloed up to the elbow. He also wears a dark-colored tie and shoes. In his right hand is a cigarette, while in his left he holds the hand of a little girl, who wears a white dress and shoes and looks toward the ground. In the background is part of a house porch, though little more than this can be said about it. A grouping of large trees and bushes and shrubs also constitute more of the background, but the location is not known. On the lower left corner of the reverse is the stamped number "56." There are some significant water stains at the top, so the artifact is in fair condition.
