Description
THOMAS W. TEMPLE II AT LA CASA NUEVA FRONT ENTRANCE
Color: Black; White
A photograph of Thomas W. Temple at the front entrance of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1932. Taken from the stairs leading to the patio on which Temple is standing, the image shows him in a dark three-piece suit, white shirt, and patterned tie, with a white handkerchief in his breat pocket and Temple holding a dark hat in his right hand. Behind him is the entrance with the front door open and the screen closed. Much of the lower section of the decorative plaster around the door is visible and there are two potted shrubs in fluted vases flanking the door. A portion of the window to the east of the door is at the far left. The photograph has a crinkled edge and there is a rectangular piece with two holes for mounting into a paper album, which is item 49.2. In good condition overall, the item has only minor reverse discoloration and paper bowing.
