THOMAS W. TEMPLE II AT UNIVERSITY OF SANTA CLARA ATHLECTIC FIELD, 9 APRIL 1926

A photograph of Thomas W. Temple II posed on an athletic field at the University of Santa Clara, about 9 April 1926. Temple wears a snap-brim cap, white shirt, dark tie with tie pin holding half of the tie behind the rest, a dark jacket secured by a belt-like closure, rather than buttoned, somewhat lighter pants with the school logo "SC" at the right knee, and dark choes. He has a camera case at his left side and a black strap attached to the case is slung over his right shoulder. In the background is a partial view of a man with a football in his hand and in the distance is someone on the field. In the foreground is the partial shadow of someone who is either the photographer or a person standing near him. On the center of the reverse is a circular stamp reading "WEBBS / APR 9 1926 / SAN JOSE." The number "43" is stamped at the upper right. In fair condition, the artifact has some creases, surface stains, soiling, and a small one-inch tear at the bottom edge.
