Color: Black and white
A black and white photographic negative of Thomas W. Temple II and an unknown girl at the Vigare Adobe, San Gabriel, circa summer 1931. Thomas is standing on a plank of wood or section of concrete in a yard. Behind him is a one-story building that may be a garage (a bicycle is partially visible through an open door.) Some trees and bushes are seen also in the background and there appears to be another building at far right. Thomas, standing at profile, wears a vest, tie, shirt, shoes and trousers with one hand holding a cigarette and the other holding in his pocket. The Vigare Adobe, where Thomas lived from 1930 to 1938, was owned by his aunt Luz Vigare. The image came in accession 97.58.12.3 along with images .5-.9 and .11-.15. The negative is in good condition with no indication of damage.
