Description

Color: Blue; White A guest register a) and box b-c) used at the funeral of Thomas W. Temple II, January 1972. The register is housed in a blue vinyl cover with gold detailing, including an image of a mission belfry, and is titled "Inscribed Memories" and issued from Pierce Brothers Mortuary (a mortuary stamp is on one of the first pages.) A poem, "Until We Meet", is on one page and, following information on the deceased and funeral services, names of pallbearers, final resting place and funeral date time, family record, are a list of spiritual bouquets; signatures of friends and relatives; and those who made floral offerings. A section at the back for newspaper notices is blank. The two-part box is plain white with a textured front and a label at the bottom right with the deceased's name. With torn corners; abrasions on the sides and top; surface soiling and some discoloration, the box is in fair condition, while the register exhibits little indication of wear and damage and is in good condition.
