THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, LUIS FATJO, AND AN UNKNOWN MAN AT LA CASA NUEVA'S COURTYARD
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Thomas W. Temple II, Luis Fatjo, and an unknown man in La Casa Nueva's courtyard, ca. 1927. The group stands at the center of the dirt courtyard facing to the left, with Temple between the other men. He wears a hat, vest, tie, long-sleeved shirt, and has his right elbow on Fatjo's shoulder. Fatjo is at the left and wears a hat, eye-glasses, tie, and suit. The man at the left wears a hat, tie, vest, long slacks, and has both hands behind his back. The west wing is across the left of the back with many potted plants and patio chairs visible under the portico, as well as the doors to Maud Bassity's bedroom and Guest Bathroom. A patio, which has beams across the top, is on the second floor wing. At the right of this is the home's tile roof, chimney, solar panels, and second-floor balcony, the baluster of which had yet to be installed. Below the balcony is an arch and at the right of this is part of the east portico. Only part of a sarape and plant are visible under the east portico's arch at the far right. A thin tree with only a few leaves is at the left of the foreground. Negatives to the images in the accession are .2.1-.10. The artifact is in good condition with no signs of wear or damage.
