Description
THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, PROBABLY AT SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Thomas W. Temple II, probably at the University of Santa Clara, ca. May 1926. Thomas wears a light-colored three-piece suit, a white shirt, dark shoes, and a dark-colored tie. In his left hand, held at the side, he has a dark-colored pouch or folder with a white envelope inside, indicating this may be Thomas' graduation from the school. Behind him isa part of a roughly-plastered building with two large square windows and, at far right, part of a doorway visible. A few bushes grow in a planter directly behind Temple and he stands on a walkway of square pavers. On the reverse center is an oval stamp, within which is "ANDERSON / Photo Service / EL MONTE." The number "8" is stamped in the lower left corner. See 60.1 for a related image. There is significant water damage at the lower left corner and minor damage at the lower right corner, but the artifact is in fair overall condition.
