A letter (a) from envelope (b) from Thomas W. Temple II to Walter P. Temple, 31 October 1927. Both are on flecked Harvard University stationery with the letter having the school seal at upper center. The letter concerns Thomas' visit to the Bancroft cousins; acknowledgement of a package sent from home; the athletic activities of Edgar and Wally Temple; anticipation of Thanksgiving with the Bancrofts; questions of home, including progress on the Tepee; and other news. In good condition, the letter is folded into thirds; has a few creases; one stain at the right of the top fold; and bent corners. The envelope is in fair condition with the opening tear at the top; worn edges; bent corners; stains along the edges; and ink smearing on the reverse.
