Description

THOMAS W. TEMPLE TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, POSTMARKED 5 JANUARY 1932 A letter (a) with envelope (b) from Thomas W. Temple II to Walter P. Temple, 5 January 1932. Handwritten in dark ink on light brown lined, ruled paper, the letter was written from San Francisco where the Temple children met shortly before the birth of the daughter of Agnes and Luis Fatjo. Thomas discussed Agnes' pregnancy; his research and writing efforts. He also noted his brothers' efforts in school. In good condition, the letter has folds into sixths with small folds at the top and bottom; has a few small creases; and is very lightly discolored. The envelope has a printed return address area and is pre-stamped for postage. Thomas wrote the return address as his sister's residence in San Francisco. In poor condition, the envelope has many creases; the opening tear at the right; is discolored; has a heavily bent corner at bottom right; and surface staining on the reverse.
