Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of three people on deck chairs aboard a cruise ship, 1930. The group is at the center, with a man wearing a dark jacket, trousers, tie, and eye-glasses at the left. He has his hands resting on the sides of the chair and smiles at the camera. A woman, who also smiles towards the camera, sits next to him, resting her head on a pillow and wearing a short-sleeved dress. A young man with a long-sleeved shirt, knickers, and long socks sits to the right. He has his hands crossed in front of him, legs bent up on the chair, and smiles towards the woman. There are four empty deck chairs to the far right. The photograph was taken during Agnes Temple's honeymoon and was housed in her album, which is item 96.7.94.1, along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With some water damage, stains, and creases, the artifact is in overall fair condition. Number-Units: 1
