Description
A stereoscopic photograph of three persons at the front entrance of Hotel Alvarado, Westlake Park, Los Angeles, 18 September 1927. Between two palm trees are the man and two women near steps flanked by light fixtures and which lead to the courtyard entrance of the Moorish style structure. Streetcar wires and tracks are also of note along Sixth Street in the foreground. An ink inscription on the reverse reads: "Hotel Alvarado from / West 6th Street/ Los Angeles / Sun. Sept 18-1927." With curvature, light soiling, minor edge rubbing, and some browning on the reverse, the overall condition is good.
