2013.864.1.1Description
Three persons in front of a house, Sawtelle, Los Angeles, California, ca. 1910s. The group are a man and wife and their nephew, standing near a two-story wood-sided residence with a second-floor balcony and a full front porch. Two large pepper trees shade the front and there is a barn or similar structure in the background right. A pencil inscription appears to be by the woman who mentions herself and the others. Written over part of this, in ink, is "Aunt Clara & Uncle Adds / home at Sawtelle, Calif." With an edge tear at the bottom, some small stains, soiling, a small missing corner, and rubbing, the condition is fair.
