Entry/Object ID
2007.189.1.1
Description
A snapshot of three women washing and drying pots and pans at a camping site in San Gabriel Canyon, ca. 1900. The women are working at a wooden table. Behind them are what appear to be crates used for storage. At the right is a stone cooking area and there are the legs of a person stretched out off camera. Trees shade the site. An inscription on the reverse is cut off but what is readable is "-me Harris / -as "feet" / Gabriel Canon." The women are Flora Harris, Emilie Ballack, and Jennie Harris (not sure of the order) as noted on item number 2016.134.1.130.There is some marginal damage and light soiling, so the condition is good.
