Color: Gold
A metal token for the Los Angeles Railway company transit line, 1928. The metal object is circular and has a pierced design of a bell at the center. On the border of the obverse is the name "LOS ANGELES RAILWAY," while on the reverse is the phrase "GOOD FOR ONE FARE." The Los Angeles Railway Company operated a streetcar system that spanned through much of southern California. Except for some nicks on the edge, darker sections of metal at a few places, and some evidence of rubbing, the artifact is in good overall condition.
