"Township and Section Map of the Puente Hills Oil District, Southern California," Bulletin No. 309 Pl. XII, U.S. Geological Survey, Charles D. Walcott, Director. The fold out map was removed from its position next to Page 110 of "Bulletin of the United States Geological Survey--The Santa Clara Valley, Puente Hills and Los Angeles Oil Districts," 1907. It divides the map into a grid encompassing Rancho La Puente, Rancho Santa Getrudis, Olinda Land Co. and Rancho Santa Ana del Chino and environs. It locates major estates and residences such as Broderick, Rowland and Graham-Loftus. It also locates the major oil companies and their boundaries such as Puente Oil Co., Union Oil Co., Chino Real Estate Co., Soquel Canyon Oil Co.. The map is in good condition.
