Description
"Transcript on Appeal," William A. Frick and James E. Frick vs. City of Los Angeles, Case 11722, Supreme Court of the State of California [#3749, Los Angeles Superior Court], October 1895. The printed item contains material on this case involving an 1892 contract by the appellants with the city to build an outfall sewer from the city to the Pacific Ocean, but which contract though accepted and signed was not honored by the city (it is noted that the sewer was completed in early March 1894). The plaintiff then asked for damages in its suit, but lost at the Superior Court and was appealing. Aside from some browning and soiling, the condition is good.
