Description

TRANSCRIPTION OF A LETTER FROM GOODMAN AND RIMPAU TO WILLIAM WORKMAN, 1875 Document: A typed transcription of a letter, on three-hole punched paper, from Goodman and Rimpau to William Workman, 1 January 1875 made by Perry Worden during the 1920s. The original letter was on the letterhead of M.L. Wicks, attorney in Anaheim. The letter concerned an introduction of Wicks to see Workman about the proposed division of Los Angeles County's southern district into a new county called Orange. Workman asked to apply his influence towards that object (which did not occur until 1889.) Another copy is accession number 96.35.151. The document is in poor condition with a dog eared corner, small tears, creases, stains and discoloration. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. None
