"Twelfth Annual Report of the Board of Public Service Commissioners of the City of Los Angeles," issued for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1913. The front cover has the title and date within a black dual-line border. Contents include a roll of commissioners and their terms of office; a list of commission officers; a reprinted letter from the board to the city council outlining news and accomplishments of the past fiscal year; a report by Chief Engineer William Mulholland on water projects, including the near completion of the Los Angeles Aqueduct project; a report to Mulholland by his assistant on specifics within the department; a report to Mulholland from the Chief Mechanical Engineer; the report of the superintendent of the Meter and Service Department; a statement of pipe laid and recovered in the distribution system; and the auditor's financial report. There are photographs of public works projects throughout the report, as well. With spine rubbing, creases, soiling, yellowing, cover and page corner folds, losses, particularly at the spine and back cover left corner, stains on the cover, and tears at the cover spine and corners, the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
