Description
Two (2) photos of the construction of Los Angeles County Hospital mounted to an album page. The top image is of the surgical ward in construction with some workers and a crane atop the steel skeleton of the building while some of the facing is in evidence at the bottom front of the structure. A new wall is at the front and there are some trees at both sides. The lower image shows a half-dozen men standing on a steel girder from Pacific Rolling Mill in San Francisco in an exacavated area of the hospital site. Much other construction material and debris is present as are portions of other buildings in the background. Between the two images on the paper is "COUNTY HOSPITAL" in white pencil. With light soiling, the condition is otherwise good.
