Description
Two (2) snapshots of a grop on a horse-driven coach, San Gabriel Mountains, ca. 1900s. The images, pasted down onto album paper, show a close-up and more removed view of the party of about a dozen persons plus the driver aboard or standing next to or on the wheel of the open carriage, which is stopped aloing a trail on the side of a hill or mountain. The travelers are dressed in suits, shirt and tie, and dresses. There are no inscriptions, but the location was identified by the seller. With minimal soiling and wear, the condition is good.
