Description

A real photo postcard of two boys on the stairs of a Los Angeles bungalow, postmarked 21 September 1907. The image is taken from the street at an angle to the left. It shows the boys seated on the low wall flanking the stairs, which lead to a one-story (with attic) Craftsman-style house with a half porch at the entrance. A portion of the landscaping, including a lawn, walks, trees and bushes and shrubs is in front and to the right, while an empty lot seems to be at the left. The postally used card has an address and short message in what appears to be German, as well as a postmark, cancellation and one-cent stamp. With moderate silvering, soiling and edge abrasions, fading, overall discoloration, the condition fair.
