Description
Two children in front of a house, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, 25 December 1915. The two, George Courtney, who lived a few doors down, and who has a bicycle and Sigrid Ekloff are in front of the latter's home at 4901 Stratford near Occidental College. Most of the front elevation and one side of the Tudor-style house are in view, although it might have been relatively new construction given the undeveloped landscape in front and to one side, where North Avenue 49 extends now. The house still stands at that corner. The photo has yellowing and soiling, but the overall condition is good.
