Description

Two letters, one two-page (a-b) and one single page (c), without envelopes, from Perry Worden regarding schooling in England for Agnes Temple, 9 January 1926. Both letters, assumed to be carbon copies of the mailed originals, are on plain white stationery. The first is addressed to a Mrs. Whitwell and, after discussing personal matters, solicited her daughter's help in finding a school for Agnes Temple. There is a handwritten note, presumably for Walter Temple, at the bottom of the second page. The second letter is addressed to Sacred Heart Convent in London is an introduction of Agnes and a solicitation of information. Mention was made of a proposed Temple family visit to England in June (they instead went to New England.) There may have been more to this letter, which seems incomplete, but did not accompany this accession. All three sheets are in fair condition with holes from the pin which held the sheets together; folds into thirds; a few creases; a few small stains; and some heavy discoloration.
