Description

TWO MEN POSED NEAR BUILDING, PRESUMABLY HARVARD UNIVERSITY, LATE 1920s Color: Black; White A negative of two men posed near a building, presumably Langdell Hall at Harvard University's Law School, ca. 1928. One man, wearing a suit and tie and heavy overcoat and holding a hat in the cradle of his left arm, leans on the left shoulder of the other man, who squats over a sidewalk. In the background are some bare trees and, further in the background are four floors of the partially-visible structure. At the far left are portions of other structures. It is assumed that the man was a classmate or friend of Thomas W. Temple II, who attended the law school from 1926-29. Aside from some non-intrusive edge darkening, edge wear, and small losses at the top left corner, the object is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
