Description
A photograph of two women on a barrel taken at the Workman Homestead, California in 1912.
The women are sitting on the top of a barrel, possibly filled with alcohol. One woman is dressed in men's clothing while the other is seen drinking from a bottle. The barrel is surrounded by a wooden fence and in the backkground are various trees and shrubbery. The land once belonged to William Workman and was formerly known as Rancho La Puente. With heavy fading on the left side, warping, discoloration, adhesive residue with stains on the back, abrasion on the corners, the object is in fair condition.
