A press photo of "Uncle John," John S. Daggett surrounded by a large group of young children in Los Angeles, 1 August 1927. Daggett was a radio announcer and children's program host on KHJ radio at the Los Angeles Times. He is depicted here outdoors with ribbons attached to his coat and wreaths around his neck, a large group of children crowding around him, laughing. The photograph is in good condition with minor surface soiling and moderate warping.
