The oval-shaped doily is bordered by black thread and features pink, blue, and green flowers at the top and bottom. A row of flowers is at the far left along with a yellow butterfly. The second doily is also bordered by black thread and has at the center an embroidered blond woman who faces to the right and wears a blue and pink dress and hat. Many flowers adorn her dress and hat and she holds out a bouquet in her right hand. The third doily is at the center of the bottom and is identical to the latter, except that the embroidery of the woman faces to the left. Printed in black at the left of the bottom is, "BUCILLA / 3 PC. LINEN VANITY SET / NO. 5363 / 1925 B. U. CO. INC. MADE IN U. S. A." Below this are the words, "To ensure the lasting beauty of / your embroidery always use / Ivory Soap or / Ivory Soap Flakes when / laundering this article." With light stains and soiling as well as some loose threads along the edges, the artifact is in good condition overall.
