A 78-rpm recording including "Under a Texas Moon" written by Ray Perkins and "Telling it to the Daisies (But it Never Gets Back to you)" written by Joe Young and Harry Warren, both performed by Gene Austin and issued by the Victor label, 22416-A and B, 1928. The label has a scroll-patterned border with the letters "VE" at the top, the logo of the company, showing Nipper the dog listening through a victrola's horn, the label name, the identification number, song title in English and Spanish, the songwriters' names, artist, and company name and city of business. Both sides list Austin, a tenor, as performing with an orchestra. On side B is a mailing label for a former owner. Aside from some label abrasions, grime on the grooves and some scratches on the grooves and label, the condition is good.Lexicon
