A photograph of an unidentified Los Angeles street, ca. 1900. The photographer stood on one side of the street, which has horse-drawn conveyances a on it, and faces the sidewalk with pedestrians walking to and away from the photographer. On both sides of the street are buildings ranging from one to five stories and there are several stores and restaurants on the right side. Power poles, store signs, flagpoles, canopies, and other material are of note. On the reverse are two pencil inscriptions: the numbers "74" at the right of center and "9" at the upper right. Aside from light soiling on the back, the artifact is in good condition.
