Color: Black; White
A photograph of an unidentified street in Los Angeles, ca. 1900. The photographer stood in the street and captures horse-drawn conveyances, pedestrians, and a man walking a bicycle on the street and adjoining sidewalks. On both sides of the street are commercial buildings and what appears to be a church ranging from two to seven or eight stories. There are canopies, signs, American flags and other notable features to the buildings. In the background may be the central tower of the old courthouse. In the foreground are rails for a street car on the road crossing that in view. On the back left of center is the number "165" while a letter "D" is at the upper right corner. With some light soiling on the reverse, the item is in good condition.
